What should the “Bottom Inspector” be doing? No matter what I select, what page, or component, the inspector only shows an icon and, “Select a component”

Is there a configuration or option I am missing? Or is the bottom inspector for some other functionality I am missing?

Maybe it is a bug!

I watched that video.

I think that if I select a component on a page that I am building, details of that component would show up. So, we have as a default, an inspector on the right. That inspector appears to work correctly: Picking a component on the page causes its details to be revealed on the right inspector.

If I turn off the right inspector and show the Bottom Inspector, nothing ever shows up there, no matter what page or component is selected.

Incidentally, in the video, the “Bottom” button is about the only one the presenter does NOT select to show what it actually does.

Can you add a screenshot here of how you have the window set up so we can see what you have selected as the bottom inspector??

That is the code editor at the bottom, so unless you click on a component that you are developing, you will not see anything down there. If, however, you are creating a custom component, the code for it will be displayed there.

Selecting any of the built-in core components will not show anything, as their code is not available to be edited.
