Hey all,

I’m trying to follow some simple advices concerning SEO. However, I’m a bit confused about the Title Tag. Is there actually a difference between the “Browser Title” in the Page Inspector and adding
a “Meta Tag Title”? Or will these two options have the same result?

Cheers,

Stevie

Browser title just adds the title meta tag. Description also adds the description meta data.
You can add them yourself as meta tags or use these fields but don’t do both as you will have duplicates.

Hey Doug!

Thanks for the info, that’s very helpful. I put my description tag already in settings \> code.
However, I used a Browser Title and additionally the Meta Tag Title in Page Inspector \> Meta Tags .
So I will just get rid of the code in the Meta Tags page and keep the Browser Title.

Cheers,

Stevie
