# Bug in Modal

Hi @dan and @ben  
I just create a new template working with a lot of frosted glass effects. Now I came along something which looks like a bug.

I made below Overlay settings for both light and dark mode.

In dark mode its looks correct

But in light mode it looks like below. It seems the opacity is not written correct into the code.

Anything wrong in my understanding how this should work or is it a bug?

It would be nice if someone who takes the time to report an issue also receives a brief reply.

i actually ran into the same issue once when using modals in one of my projects.

i know this is probably not the solution you’re hoping for, but in my case I generally avoid using dark/light mode altogether 🤪 🙊

im sure ben or dan will take a look at the issue at some point.

We get a lot of questions on the forum, and sometimes we miss some, we’re only human and we’re working as hard as we can.

We’re currently working on a HUGE new release of Elements, this issue has now been fixed and will ship as part of that release. Look out for it in the next few weeks.
