Everyone knows where I’m going with this. 😜 Do you think we’ll get to a point where we’re building our Elements projects with our preferred AI model?

Love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.

I believe it - not sure when - not sure how…

Claude can already do amazing things… the speed of development and implementation will increase

It’s a pretty amazing time to enjoy technology…

Don’t know if you could somewhat do it now? Make me a homepage in tailwind XYZ format? Then try importing it into elements? Don’t have a clue if it would work…

Or - when the time come - say to your favorite AI inside elements - create a basic four page site - Home, About, Contact, Products in the style of XYZ based on the colors P and Q with readable large basic font and 3x headers

That would be pretty amazing…

If you are using AI to build a website why would you need any software? Just tell it to build a website.

I can’t see how AI will end well for anyone.

I use would use AI to handle the heavy lifting in Elements, then come in for the final touches myself. Having that ability to manually refine my sites matters to me, even when AI played a big role in building them.

I genuinely believe AI is one of the most powerful tools we have right now — those of us who learn to weave it into our workflows are going to have a real edge. I build a lot of websites and handle Local SEO for several clients, and honestly, without my AI assistant helping run the operation, I’m not sure it would be worth doing at the scale I do it. It’s changed everything about how I work.

That said, this is just my experience. Everyone’s workflow is different, and what works for me may not be the right fit for everyone.

Yup, that makes sense. I believe AI is going to be a big part of everyone’s computer use going forward, a lot of people just don’t know it yet.

I’d love to hear more about what you guys would expect Elements to be able to do with AI, or perhaps **what you’d expect AI to be able to do inside of Elements.**

Let me know!

I think that human creativity is the most valuable thing to offer our site visitors.

I work with many clients who use highly reputable SEO firms and it absolutely kills me that the tactics they use work. I want to build nice websites and write content for people, their only focus on building it for the algorithms. A website built for a person presents very differently to a human user than a website built for a computer.

That said, AI is very helpful in augmenting my own skills and abilities. It can function like a junior copywriter or a copy editor, which is extremely helpful in my day-to-day work. In Elements specifically, it’d be great if the AI brought marketing and SEO expertise within the software and was able to understand and remember specific requirements/objectives for the project.

I think that AI is a problem if we outsource our thinking and creativity to it. We have to harness the technology just as we’ve harnessed every other great technology that came before it.

Yes - big discussions in music about ai now and human creativity

There was a podcast from the head of the Grammys in which he stated: AI is everywhere in studios, backing tracks, vocals, mixing, mastering etc… interesting stuff…

Yes, I also think AI in Elements would be good at solving issues, like checking for errors in markdown files, etc…

Claude Ai using Coworker is amazing! I set up a local project folder and had Claude download all the images I use in my CMS, then convert them to webp format. I uploaded the files manually because it was just easier and then had Claude Ai change my CMS files to point to the webp images.

I use it to post my new articles including evaluation tags against a list of existing and recommending possible new ones, but waiting for approval. It creates an image prompt so I can get Grok to make the images. Creates a summary to include in the excerpt field and adds an alt tag based upon the image prompt.

It is just truly amazing what this makes possible and I’m sure I’m not leveraging its full potential. I haven’t set it up yet, but I’m pretty sure I can have it watch my local Project image folder and have it upload any new images I put in the folder.

If it could integrate inside Elements and assist with page layout based upon a prompt that would be another great addition.

No you can use it under Pro. Because it does use API calls, it does consume usage credits. You have a certain allotment of those under each account type. The first MAX level has 5X the usage credit allotment than PRO and the 2nd MAX level is 20X the usage credit allotment. If you don’t want to go to a higher level, you can also purchase usage credits and set a monthly spending limit.

Also important to note is usage credits are portioned out in 5 hour increments, so if you run out of credits you can wait 5 hours and you get portioned more.

I recommend the PRO and see how much you use it and then evaluating if just purchasing direct usage credits when needed rather than upgrading to MAX is more economical.

I ran into the 5 hour limit in the beginning on the pro account - as I tried to do everything and tried everything at once…

Now - normal usage - haven’t run into the 5 hour limit again - just the very first time - I was batch editing all of my markdown files - and then doing a second and third round of batch editing

Now - like I said - no issues on the pro account

I bought the year package and saved an additional $40

I actually tried this as a test in the new Fable release yesterday. It obviously didn’t work that well because it didn’t have access to Elements directly…however.

What I did was give Claude links to a “Project” setup in Claude which I use as a reference guide, all the screen shots of the purchases in the store and my existing Classic site. I asked it to replicate in Elements.

It spat out all the HTML code etc and created a site. Nothing like I was looking for BUT it was able to recreate the Marquee image slider with the right brand images and scrolling across the page. I thought that was quite impressive.

If people are using AI to do their internet searches then doesn’t that make SEO redundant? Presumably it is crawling all websites in the world, robots allowed or not, so if you use AI to search for specific terms it will come back with results based on actual content, and AI owner bias obviously, not how many times a key word is repeated or the correct use of H tags?

Without diving too far down the rabbit hole, traditional SEO isn’t dead, it’s actually the foundation that determines _which_ sites AI trusts in the first place.

AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT still have to source their answers from somewhere, and they heavily favor sites that demonstrate authority, relevance, and trustworthiness. That’s still built through the fundamentals: quality content, strong backlink profiles, technical health, and yes, proper structure and on-page signals. The AI isn’t ignoring those things, it’s using them as trust signals just like Google always has.

You’re right that keyword stuffing and H-tag gaming are increasingly meaningless, and honestly that’s a good thing. It just raises the bar for _real_ SEO work. The sites getting cited in AI responses aren’t there by accident. They earned it the same way they always have.

The game is shifting from “rank in a list” to “get cited as the answer,” but the underlying work is largely the same. If anything, thin content and spammy tactics get punished harder now because AI models are better at identifying them.

So no, SEO isn’t redundant. It’s just evolving from visibility to authority.
