# Can’t Remove Text Component after Unlinking from Global

If I have a Text Component, which is one of four parts of a Global, and then decide to Unlink the Text Component itself from the Global, I find I am not able to delete this Text Component.

Only after I have Unlinked the entire Global, can I then Delete the Text Component. Is this the way it should work?
