# Centering items inside a Grid component

RapidWeaver Elements 0.7.12 (23532)

Why is it unintuitive? I’d like to center this image inside the Grid item on the left… see [this screenshot](https://cloud.numericcitizen.me/YRHgH86f).

I know sometimes it can feel unintuitive, and I think this is because it’s based on CSS (the more you know about CSS, the more it makes sense).

Anyway… as the image is in a container, you’ll need to set the left and right margins on the “Image” to “auto”. Here’s how to do it:

Tried that. Not working. I’ll look at @dan 's solution later today.
