Im going round the bend.

I have a single page website which when set up was html. I now need it to be php to use the cms. Bot said to change to .php in settings which i did but when i put the cms element in i get a load of code at the top of the site which it was suggested beacsue the page is still html…confirmed on the server.

Duplicating the page does the same and when adding a new page i cant copy over the elements.

Any ideas?
