I have a site which I have built here… [http://www.willispublicity.co.uk](http://www.willispublicity.co.uk)
using the Mirage theme which doesn’t support the “Overriding Site Banners” option.

Up until now I have been adding my banner images to the “editable images” folder within the Mirage theme project file.

Now I need to build a new version of this site but I do not want to replace the banner images in the existing site.

Is my only solution to duplicate the Mirage theme so I can replace all the banner images in this duplicated editable images folder? If possible, I’d rather not do this (unless I have to) as this clutters up my Theme drawer.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of adding my images to the resources folder and then importing them in to the banner space using code or a stack such as NCD’s Superflex (which doesn’t work in this theme)?

I believe Mirage is Extra Content ready so I believe you could use Extra Content for the banners. I’m sure others can tell you for sure…

It looks as though Extra Content 2 can be used to replace the banner image area, so you could add that stack and then drop the slider of your choice inside it?

Yes Mirage’s EC2 area is in the banner area.
So I’ve republished the site here…
[http://sites.davidjenner.co.uk/willispublicity/](http://sites.davidjenner.co.uk/willispublicity/)

So I dropped in a banner image directly in to an EC Stack and you can see the banner image is there on the home page but it’s independent of the banner area. I have set the image to Scale To Fit constraining the width to 2400px wide x 1200 px in height.

It seems no matter what I change these settings to I can’t get it to behave as if I had put an image in the editable images folder.

Nor is this image responsive to different screen sizes.

In the theme settings, find the **Header Image** settings and change it to none.
