In Pic1 I have a number of Container Components.
How do I move #4 to the level of #2, BUT still be below #3.

It seems to me, we need an easier and very clear way of changing the hierarchy of Components. Something as easy as say Shift-LeftKey or Shift-RightKey.

Does any one have an answer for this?

@paulcruice

Just tried as an experiment. I moved 4 to inside 1 (same level as 2) and it kept it after 3.

It may be because I numbered them and it kept them in alpha-numeric order. I didn’t experiment further.

Yep, that works well. But now start from this new position as in pic1, and move 4 to the level of 2 (using the same method you described), AND maintain the order. This time it moves it to the level we want but does NOT maintain the order (pic2).

Of course, I can move 4 up to above 5 and this achieves what I want, **but surely there is a simpler way of changing hierarchy.**

We’ll have a think on it 🤔 and see if there’s anything we can do to improve it in the future.

@paulcruice I think today’s update (0.8.2) will help you with shifting items up and down the hierarchy!
