Has anyone had any luck getting custom annotations to work on charter?

I’ve got a time series and wanted a vertical annotation line at 2025-09-01, but it doesn’t accept a string input, or the date in Unix time, as it rounds down to 1,000,000,000.

Had anyone found a way around this?
