Chillidog Hosting, PHP and upload issues

Hi @ercross

Thanks for sending the project file over. I did a quick test on a cPanel server we have access to and I was able to republish all files via SFTP without any errors. I then made a small change and tried to publish again, and all was working.

Does seem like it’s an issue that CDH will need to check into.

Hi Dan,

I still can’t get SFTP to work from Elements. I also have Forklift and I set that up using the same credentials. The only difference is that it has a separate Port field as well as the hostname field. In Elements, I’m putting the Port number in the server field: wtbc.net:23261. Using Forklift with SFTP I am able to transfer files to the server without a problem.

Also, I tried a different one page site project that is hosted on the same server under a different domain name and it fails SFTP through Elements.

Hey @ercross

Are you using the Elements 2.0 beta, or are you still on Elements version 1.6.3?

I’m using the 2.0 beta

Ok can you enable upload logging in your settings like so:

Then can you clear your current support logs like so:

Then can you try to publish your site, and after it fails, can you copy your support logs like so and send them over to me via DM?

Hi Dan,

I did that but I do not get the option to Copy Support Logs. Mine says Upload Support Logs, but when I try that it fails.

Ah yeah sorry we changed it in the Beta, support uploads are coming soon.

I’ll send you a DM here shortly…

We got this working over a Zoom call, the Path field in Element’s Publishing Settings needed a small edit.

After that uploading started working again. All’s good. :+1:
