I have purchased the Rapidweaver Classic for 1 Year on October 30th 2023

For almost a year, Realmac was not delivering any upgrades, because they are focusing on the development of Elements.

Realmac has now published 2 small Upgrades of Classic in the passt few days and they have published the Classic Version 9.3.3 today.

Unfortunately my License runs out of support yesterday.

I feel like I’ve been misled because Rapidweaver Classic hasn’t been developed or improved for almost a year, despite my payment.

Improvements are now being published after my license has expired

That’s not fair

Rolf

Hey @Rolf, I’m sorry to hear you feel this way, and I understand how the timing here feels frustrating. If you could get in [touch with support](https://support@realmacsoftware.com), we’ll get something sorted out for you (link to this post so they know what it’s regarding).

Isn’t this the same as when you get a year coverage on a product and the day that warranty runs out, the product breaks…ha, ha. I think it is very nice to see RW respond with a positive comment on this issue, but when you see how much work goes into making their software work properly, knowing that fixing one thing can lead to breaks in others, paying a small price for an upgrade seems a no brainer. Besides, if you look at the upgrade, you might not even want it, if all is working with your year old software.

I just found out that most smart phone software runs out of upgrades after 3-4 years, so if you want the latest OS and your phone is, say 5 years old, you have to buy a new phone. At $500 or more a pop, that isn’t cheap.

I just thought I would offer another view on this subject.

Okey… it’s just that the prices are high. May be I will wait till there is a discount or so for the Black Friday.

There’s a promotion for the month of October (today’s the last day I guess). 25% off the price of a license with the coupon code **ILOVERW25** which you can enter during the checkout process to receive the discount.

No idea if there will be a Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotion, or how much it will be, but historically it’s been very generous. 🙂
