# CMS / Blog - which one is it going to be?

@dan Yes, I know this is probably way too early, but do you already have an idea which (external?) CMS / Blogging solution you have in mind? Or are there even several that you have to choose from? I’m just curious 😉

Actually no, I’m interested because a friend asked me to update and manage their existing (wordpress) website or maybe even re-design it. But they want and need a way to edit some content and add blog posts. And I prefer not to use wordpress if possible. 😉

Agreed. Wordpress is not the solution at this level.

I’d like to make a bid that whatever is done, that it be compatible with Mars Edit, if possible. Also, I mentioned this before, but Dave Winer (outliners, RRS progenitor) is back and I’d love to see his WordLand ([About WordLand](https://this.how/wordland/)) integrated with whatever blogging solution is in Elements.
