Hi,

Has anyone figured out, how to maintain a CMS with Frontmatter, YAML in Elements.

We lack a frontend. I am trying to understand how GITHUB could be used as frontend for posts, populating the “posts” folder with .md files for structure and content.

I also stumbled over OBSIDIAN, which has cool features.

does anyone have knowledge about how all these technologies converge, converse..

Happy 2026.

I use a simple process:

1. Create a .MD file in OneMarkdown.
2. Apply TypeIt4Me to populate the YAML frontmatter.
3. Fill in the frontmatter variables.
4. Type out my Markdown.
5. Save the file to a folder.
6. Later drag the folder contents into the proper CMS folder in my Elements project.

If you use images, things get a little more complicated.
