Hi everyone,
I’m having trouble getting a second image field (`author_image`) from my Markdown frontmatter to display in Elements CMS. My main post thumbnail works fine, but the author image shows a blue question mark.

## Markdown Frontmatter:

## image: “resources/auto-b.png” author\_image: “resources/author\_1.png”

Inspector Settings:

- Main Image (Working): Type: `CMS` | Field: `{{item.image.src}}`
- Author Image (Broken): Type: `CMS` | Field: `{{item.author_image}}` (also tried {{item.author\_image.src}} and author\_image)

Even if I swap `author_image` to point to the working `auto-b.png` file, it still fails.
Is there something specific required to map custom secondary image keys in Elements CMS? Thanks for any help!

Custom image fields need to use the same nested image structure as the main image. Could you try:

```auto
author_image:
  src: resources/author_1.png
  alt: Author portrait
```

Then use `{{item.author_image.src}}` for the Image component’s CMS field.

Thank you Dan, that was IT. 🙏🏻
