# Collapsing inspector sections?

1. How do we get the default view of each section of the inspector closed by default when dropping a component?
2. How do you expand all using a modifier key?
3. How do you collapse them all using a modifier key?

We don’t have keyboard modifiers, yet. Here’s what we do have…

Right click on a heading in the settings inspector to change how the inspector behaves.

- Expand All - Will expand all settings.
- Collapse All - Will collapse all open settings.
- Single Group Mode - Switching to the single group mode only allows one setting area to be open at a time.

When in Single Group mode the only option available in the right-click menu is switch back to default mode.

- Single Group Mode (ticked) - Untick to switch back to the default mode, this will then allow you to view multiple setting at the same time again.

I personally use the single group mode, pretty much exclusively!
