I stumbled upon this by accident. If you go to set up a text link, but then change your mind and click “Set Link” instead of “Cancel”, Elements crashes.

When re-opening the project, I get an error: Couldn’t start the internal web server on 127.0.0.1:1024. - Address already in use. Is there a way to shut the internal server down without having to do a system reboot?

Thanks for reporting this, we’re working on a fix and it should be available in the next build 👍

Oh, and you can restart the web server under Advanced in Project Settings:

Hi Ben,

Restart Web Server gives the same error message: Couldn’t start the internal web server on 127.0.0.1:1024. - Address already in use

Hmmm, interesting 🤔

Can you let me know if restarting your Mac fixes it for you?

Hi Ben,

Yes restarting my Mac does fix it. Not a real major issue as it only happens if I accidentally click set link without actually setting one up, so not likely to happen very often.
