Does anyone know of a fairly straightforward way to add markdown or html code within a spreadsheet which would translate into an adjustable space when linked via the GridIron Stack in RapidWeaver. I know I can just add some text with the same color as the cell background but that gets clunky when hover colors and or sort colors get involved.

Well, nobody chimed in, but if others have the same question I found something that does the trick.

Putting this in a linked spreadsheet lets you create variable space in the GridIron table.
