# Curious "Update Error!" message

Try removing/deleting all copies of Elements from your Studio Mac, and re-downloading a fresh copy of Elements.

Pop it into the Applications Folder and hopefully the next update (due next week now), will work just fine.

Failing that, it might be a Finder/Permissions issues 🤔

Hey, @elementsbot, do you have any advice on the “Update Error!” issue, how is this usually solved?
