I’m not sure if this has always been the case, but at the moment, it’s not possible to create tables with Elements CMS. Markdown tables in my Markdown files are currently not being rendered in my CMS setup. @dan and @ben – could you please give some quick feedback on this?

Elements CMS supports all Basic Markdown Syntax, it does not currently support any unofficial extended syntax (including tables). Hope that helps.
