# Do I need RapidWeaver Classic for having Foundry 3 installed?

Do I need RapidWeaver Classic for having Foundry 3 installed? I have RapidWeaver 8.

You can use it on both, [official guide](https://foundry.elixirgraphics.com/documentation/#gsc.tab=0)

> Foundry v3 will work with both RapidWeaver and Stacks in several configurations:
