The drag and drop behavior is sometimes inconsistent. I made a video to demonstrate what I mean.

Okay, so the bug is that you sometimes can’t drag it into the right position in the Node tree?

Yes, an element doesn’t accept elements that are being moved. However, it does accept new elements.

this is also on my “annoying list” from rw-elements 😖

This is really annoying at work. I had another case where I couldn’t move an entire tree. I wanted to “insert” a container. It doesn’t really work with the pages either.

@Ulrich @Pegasus - We tried to re-create the issue with no-luck, the node tree seems to be working here as expected. Do either of you have a project we can take a look at?

The quicker we can reproduce the issue, the quicker we can get this fixed 👍

ah-ha! We’ve solved the mystery and will get this issue fixed in a future build (hopefully very soon).

Here’s a video explaining the issue and the workarounds!

Forgot to mention that this was fixed in **build 1.0.8**. However, we’ve just released [Elements 1.0.9 (23745 )](https://forums.realmacsoftware.com/t/elements-1-0-9-23745/49097), which includes even more fixes!
