It would be convenient if you could edit a global, in particular the Gallery Pro, in the components pane.

I was fiddling with the various settings of Gallery Pro and when I got a configuration I liked I saved it as a global. If I had had my wits about me I would have removed the folder before saving it as a global (or at least realised this before using it further) but I didn’t so the global has the folder I used for that experimentation. Now when I use it again I have to disconnect the folder and replace it (and yes I have forgotten to disconnect it more than once so having disconnect clear it too would be nice).

While this is a simple case I expect that Globals will become more complex and so setting the default values after the fact might come in quite handy.

Maybe you can use the tip from Dan: make a theme from the global, then the overrides are already switch on.
He explains it in the video from 51:40m
