My-File.png become my_file.png. Maybe this happen in an early version of Elements.
Right, so ensure all your resources are lower case and when you link to them in code or in a markdown file, they are all lowercase. This should fix your issue…
Import Classic
3 files
one imported and provided page structure, meta data et
one crashed Elements
one said The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format.
This did not fix the issue.
Can you send both of those projects to forumsupport@realmacsoftware.com so we can put in a fix ![]()
HI Dan,
I’m Heinrich Dahms, filmmaker and music maker and I’ve been using Classic for several years to build my sites. Just upgraded to Elements and saw your post on whether it’s a good idea to be able to import from Classic to Elements. My answer is a VERY BIG YES! Everything, ciincluding content, PLEASE! It will save SO much time and energy. I’ve got Elements now, but I’m probably not going to start using it until it’s possible to drop the Classic projects straight into Elements. To be completely honest, if it’s not a feature, I might not even hang around long enough to use Elements at all. It seems to me to almost be a ‘no-brainer’ to include this complete feature. Love to know what everyone else think. Thanks anyway for this application. Best,
Heinrich
Two big project files coming via wetransfer ?
Awesome, that would be great!
Just to confirm, we have the files and have fixed both issues.
The fixes will be available in the next build later today/tomorrow.
