Read on to learn more about what’s new and how to get your hands on this free update.

### Introducing Tailwind 4

Elements 3 has been upgraded to the latest Tailwind 4 CSS framework, giving you even more power and flexibility when styling your website. We’ve already begun updating the components to take advantage of new features like radial and conical gradients.

### New Text Wrap Component

The Shape component lets you wrap text around SVG shapes and PNG images, enabling magazine-style layouts 🤯

 ![CleanShot 2026-07-13 at 4 .55.00@2x](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex005/uploads/realmacsoftware1/original/3X/c/f/cfafb7b7f19f56510343d4bc36576372e8d9e676.jpeg)

### New Mask Component

The new Mask component lets you apply an SVG mask to any component, including images and video.

 ![CleanShot 2026-07-13 at 4 .55.51@2x](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex005/uploads/realmacsoftware1/original/3X/c/9/c9e78cc878617edcf05cb186dde26667d27cc279.jpeg)

### New 3D Transform Component

Apply 3D transformations to any component — tilt, rotate, and scale to create a 3D effect on hover or driven by mouse movement!

 ![CleanShot 2026-07-13 at 4 .56.58@2x](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex005/uploads/realmacsoftware1/original/3X/4/5/4547abd7d1fe76954ea7482c54ede08a880aa106.jpeg)

### Table Component Update

The Table component now supports a whole host of new features, including the ability to import data from a CSV file (local or remote) or Google Sheets. There are also new sorting and search options, plus the ability to turn table cells into dropzones.

### Gallery Component Update

The Gallery now supports captions and author credits in the Lightbox. It’s a small change, but it’s been the most requested feature for the Gallery component, and we’re happy to finally get it into your hands.

## Important: This is a Beta!

While we believe this first beta is very stable, we don’t recommend using it on live, mission-critical websites. The Tailwind 4 framework touches most parts of the app, including how webpages render, so please check your sites for layout issues or changes before re-publishing.

To install the beta, launch your current build of Elements and go to Settings/Preferences. Under the Updates section, enable beta updates.

Once beta updates are enabled, go to the Elements menu and select “Check for Updates…”.

 ![CleanShot 2026-07-12 at 6 .47.22@2x](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex005/uploads/realmacsoftware1/original/3X/6/a/6a615174e09ddd85cad7fa8f4c8b330d79509636.jpeg)

### How to rollback to a previous build

Should you run into an issues when using a new build of Elements you can always rollback to a previous version via the [Release Notes page](https://realmacsoftware.com/rapidweaver/releasenotes/) while you wait for a fix.

## The Future of Web Design

Thanks for being part of Elements and for helping us shape the future of web design on the Mac. Your feedback during the beta has been hugely valuable and played a big role in where Elements goes from here.

We’re excited to keep building, refining, and shipping, and we really can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.

**Thanks**
Team Elements

Awesome!

So far things are looking good; I have only run into one problem with one of the third-party components (Pick a Card), where it is not displaying in the editor, even though it works fine in preview.

Lots to digest here.

One teeny little bug - on sticky menu - the opacity isn’t working…

Tried with Vibralogix store works fine…

You can see the effect at:

>
> Shop the PlayTheBlues.com Store for premium blues backing tracks, trumpet play-along books, and background tracks for soloing, jamming, or teaching. Instant MP3 downloads, expertly crafted for musicians who live to play the blues.

Also seemed to erase the mobile menu…

Dan

I ran the updater installer for elements and it did not completly run.
The App will not start up.
We dumped the Safari Cache.
Took the Elements App out and tossed it doing a new reinstall.
Elements will not start up.
Something is corrupted and is blocking this.
What to do next?

Sounds like it might be more of a system based issue, try restarting and then re-download a copyof Elements from here: [RapidWeaver Elements - Release Notes](https://www.realmacsoftware.com/rapidweaver/releasenotes/)

Let me know how you get on!

Had to tweak a couple of things, but not a lot. One issue I have something showing up on a page and I don’t know why. I am getting an empty box with drop shadow on all my post pages. Here’s and example: [Following Paul with WTBC - Rightly Dividing Pleading the Blood](https://followingpaul.org/pastor-s-desk/post/rightly-dividing-pleading-the-blood)

@dan @ben @differentdan It really feels like the app is getting finished. Amazing work! 🙌 The new text wrap and updated table components are my personal favorites. I know you breezed right past the table’s search feature in the video, but it’s honestly going to be the best part of the whole update for my workflow!

I was hoping some of the build improvements from Tailwind 4 would carry over. Not to take away from the team credit if they made separate improvements to the internal engine. This is fantastic news for a website of the size and scale I’m putting together!
