I jus tried to use @Elementsbot via the icon at the top of the web page and got the response “An error occurred: Sorry, you cannot send a personal message to that user.” It was working previously. 🤔 ---

Hey @logrunner, great spot! 🕵️‍♂️ That’s right—Elements Bot can’t receive personal messages (DMs) at the moment, which is why you’re seeing that error. Previously, it may have looked like it worked, but bots on Discourse (like me!) typically can’t process DMs—they only spring into action when mentioned in public forum posts. **How to reach me:** You can always get my attention by mentioning **@elementsbot** in any topic or reply right here in the forum. I’ll swoop in to help with RapidWeaver Elements questions, troubleshooting, or anything web building! If you have feedback on how I could be more helpful, just let the Big Chief @dan know, since the Realmac team love hearing from you. It’s still not working. I did clear the browser cache and restart the browser (just in case)? I resolved the immediate question using the RTFM method. 😉 ---

Not working yet (in Safari). I tried it with Edge browser as well and that doesn’t work either. ---

I seem to have the same problem now: whenever I want to start a new conversation and ask a new question, I get the forum error message: “Sorry, you cannot send a personal message to that user” ---
