Larger thumbnail images in resources folder.
I have 55 folders of images in the resources section. When looking for a specific photo to delete or move, these tiny thumbs are not convenient.
Thanks

My current workaround is to have a bigger view by using the resource info. But you are absolutely right, bigger thumbs would be convenient.

Guys, you won’t believe it, but the solution is actually incredibly simple!

Just select the image you want to take a closer look at, click on it once, and then press the **SPACE bar**. 🙂

Probably one of the best hidden features in RapidWeaver Elements!

I think I’ve already provided a pretty good and perfectly usable solution to the original request.
But since we’re already in a Feature Request thread, here’s an idea!

And we all know what comes after Black Friday… Christmas! And Christmas is, of course, the season of wishes! 🙂

So I thought, why not turn this thread into a little **Elements Feature Request Christmas Wishlist**?

The idea is to focus on **small feature requests and improvements** , not major new features or big changes. Just those little things that could make your everyday work with Elements easier, faster, or more convenient.

This could also give the Elements team a useful overview of where the UI could be improved and which small but useful features from the RapidWeaver Classic days people are still missing.

**I’ll start with one of my own wishes:**

One feature I’d really love to see return from RapidWeaver Classic is the ability to **simply copy the URL or path of an image stored in the Resources folder** , just like we could in Classic.
This would make working with the built-in CMS in Elements so much easier!

 ![Bildschirmfoto 2026-11-07 um 10.37.13](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex005/uploads/realmacsoftware1/original/3X/f/2/f2e70be2ac2cb6f8a7fcba9fcfa3b8846659a7b0.jpeg)

For example, when creating or editing a CMS post, I could simply copy the image path and paste it directly into the corresponding Frontmatter field.

Right now, I have to manually type the entire image path, which is unnecessarily time-consuming, especially when working with lots of CMS content.

It’s a small feature, but one that would make a real difference to my daily workflow.

**So, what’s on your Elements Christmas Wishlist?**

Are there any small features, UI improvements, or little conveniences from RapidWeaver Classic that you’d love to see in Elements?

Let’s collect some ideas and maybe give the RealMac-Team team a little Christmas wishlist to work with! 🙂

On my Christmas wishlist is a change to the Online CMS editor. Right now, a blogger that uses images with every post in his blog listing has to:

1. Upload an image into Resources.
2. Copy the URL for that image (… isn’t always visible on the image, by the way).
3. Create a new post.
4. Find the Image:src field and Paste what you copied in Step 2.
This is user unfriendly and forces every developer to write a manual for a simple operation. Why can’t I right-click (or have a button) in the Image:src field, Upload directly, and have the system automatically do all the plumbing?
