Hello,

I have RapidWeaver 8.9 and a version of the Marvel theme.

In Marvel you can embed an audio file using a script:

Then the playable MP3 file appears on the website.

That works well. But I want the MP3 file (just a short sound) to play automatically when you open the page and I would prefer not to have the file visible at all on the page.

I tried adding \</audio autoplay\> to the command. But that doesn’t work. Does anyone know a solution?

Thanks

I cannot post the script because it is immediately converted.

I think most browser’s now block audio files from automatically playing when the window or tab is open. For good reason too, kind of an annoying relic of the old internet.

I now found a solution using a script that I found here in another topic. I had to use two scripts, no idea why, but it works.
I try it if I like.
