Hi there all,

A quick question on encoding settings in the page settings tab:
In RWC the Encoding default is set to Unicode (UTF-8) and in Elements the Encoding is set to Western (ISO Latin 1).

Which is best to use in Elements (and what is the difference between the 2)?

Hi @Lion,

If your website content only uses the Latin alphabet you can go with Western (ISO Latin 1).

If you were using any alphabet/writing system that doesn’t use Latin characters, like Japanese, Korean, Thai, etc., go with Unicode (UTF-8).
