Failing to update

Version 7.3 (18549b) is failing to update plugins:

looks like just the install portion failed – did the download seem to go OK? interesting that’s it’s reporting the raw bundle ID instead of the names of the plugins.

if you try to install things by double clicking does it work?
do you have your addons folder in a custom location? or the default?

Installation goes well when double clicking, no issues ever. Addons are actually in a custom folder.

This might be a new issue with 7.3 - we’re looking into it now…

@Lucas could you run the following command in Terminal.app, then relaunch RapidWeaver and try again please?

defaults write com.realmacsoftware.rapidweaver RWVerboseAddonUpdateChecking -bool true

An error message should be logged to Console.app with this preference enabled. It’s usually because download or extraction failed.

New build is out: 🐞🐞 RapidWeaver 7.3 (18560b) Public Beta 2

@simon tried the command but no luck. In Console I have the following:

Creating default cookie storage with default identifier
Faulting in NSHTTPCookieStorage singleton
Faulting in CFHTTPCookieStorage singleton

After several months RW finally managed to update the plugins in this version 7.5.4 (18811) :grinning:
