File creation dates missing

(Mike Bernard) #1

Please provide a few details in the following format so we can help you as quickly as possible!

RapidWeaver Version: * 6.3.6 (15142)*
System Version: 10.11.1
Hardware: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), 3.5GHz i5, 8GB memory.

Issue:
When I save a RW6 project my WD backup software reports an error backing up the project file. I have found this is caused by the file date not being set on two files in the RW6 project file (no dates created at all for these two files). The files are located in the project package under QuickLook\Files\ They are two jpg files that appear on the home page.

If I change the file creation dates to a value then the backup works fine. However as soon as the project is saved again the file dates are removed!

Expected Result:
The file dates should be valid!

In the mean time, you may want to turn off Quick Look thumbnails in the RapidWeaver preferences.

We’ve looked into this: the files in question, in this instance, don’t actually have a creation date. Future updates to RW will add a creation date to the image, to avoid this happening.

Thanks for reporting it!
