# FTP transfert problem

Hello guys, I have a problem with my RapidWeaver. When I transfer my data (about half-transfer) on Aruba FTP server I get this error:

Couldn’t upload to your FTP server: Failure when receiving data from the peer

I already tried to restart, to reduce the number of connections for transfer to one, I tried really a lot of things found on the forum, but does not solve. You know give me some suggestions helpful? I rule out that it is a firewall issue because as said before the problem occurs in mid-transfer.

Also if you export the site and then load it with filezilla I have no problems. I explained how this is possible? RW does not mean that a real FTP transfer direct from my PC to the server?

Some people have problems publishing their sites with RW. The simplest workaround is to use one of the FTP transfer apps instead (my favored one is ‘[Transmit](http://www.panic.com/transmit/)’ from Panic Software).
