Asked Chat GPT - why are my websites now first and second place in searches…

1. DreamHost is really fast (switched from pair)

2. Elements is really fast

3. Google ranks you higher for speed… (didn’t know that)

Anyone else notice an increase in rankings?

Very happy 😃

they made a change a while back which gave a lot more “ranking points” for page speed, or how fast your page loads.

We try our best to ship as little code as possible in the core components, but it’s also worth thinking about the size of images/audio/video that you add to each page.

Have you also added a CDN? You can do this for free with Cloudflare and it’ll help even further with page loading times!

Really happy to hear you’re getting better results with Elements 😃

Looking into it the free plan looks good…

Change everything over to Cloudflare? They had a laundry list of items, emails, etc to change - then finally change the nameservers (didn’t do that)

Longish story - For [OneSongEveryDay.com](http://OneSongEveryDay.com) have full MP3 320kbps on google hard drive and linking to it
(Minimal traffic and google hasn’t complained for over a decade)

[WindyTown.com](http://WindyTown.com) has 68 full MP3 demos

[PlayTheBlues.com](http://PlayTheBlues.com) has a lot of MP3 demos

So investigating further - read about R2 storage by cloudflare - so my question is: Worth moving all the content to R2 and relinking? Or leave it alone? Not sure what to do?

Here’s the traffic for 7 days from [onesongeveryday.com](http://onesongeveryday.com) - not much - thoughts anyone???
