Setting the grid columns for **Mobile** also sets it for **SM**. If I set the grid columns to 2 for **SM** it also updates **Mobile** - the two sizes appear to be locked for grid columns, despite overriding with a blue dot for **SM**?

Actually, I think the issue is to do with scroll bars. If you select the **SM** icon, it doesn’t appear to be allowing for the vertical scroll bar. If you manually edge the editor window a bit larger it then changes to two columns.

If you start in **Mobile** and then drag the editor window wider, the icon will change to **SM** but the grid columns will remain at 1. Dragging the Editor window slightly wider (by the width of the vertical scroll bar) will then go to 2 grid columns.
