Hi,

Would anyone have advice regarding H1, H2 and H3 tags in RapidWeaver (7 at the moment)? I have several SEO tools from which I have obtained conflicting information.

Is the “Slogan” which appears on the “Banner” the H1 tag? Or is it the first title on the page which I mark as “Heading 1” myself? And where are H2 and H3? Is it “Heading 2 and 3”?

Your responses would be appreciated.

Best, Natasha

Hi Natasha,

Themes often will use the headline tags (h1, h2, etc, etc) for things like title and slogan. So it’s theme dependant.

That sounds like you are using styled text. If so, if you mark the text as “heading 1”, it would generate an h1 tag. If you set it as “heading 2” it should create h2 tags, etc, etc.

Thank you for your answer. It seems that when there is a slogan it counts as H1.

Yes with some themes that’s true. Some themes use the title for an h1 and the slogan for an h2.

It’s theme dependent.
