# How do I change Licence number after upgrade?

@dan How do I change my licence code as I can not find anywhere to do it and when I open [ELEMENTS](https://elementsapp.io/) I have old licence code. Also this will not affect my projects or work already carried out? TIA

Thanks for upgrading 🥰

You can deactivate your old license in the Registration window, go to `Elements > Registeration…` then deactivate any machines via the drop down in the window, you should then be able to enter your new license.
