Hi,

I am working on a new project. I have the same pages in DE and also in EN in one project. Now I want to add alt-information to the images. The way I wanted to do this is to click on an image inside the page, then add alt text, which seems not be possible. I need to use the resources.

If I look at the resources I can add one alt-text for the image, but if the same image is used for different languages, this will not work.

Is there a way to do this without duplicating each image and have another name and resource for the second language?

Thank you

for ECMS 2.0? or app only?

If you’re using an app-only approach, you’ll probably need to maintain separate image assets within your resources. That means creating a dedicated image folder for each country and providing country-specific images and alt tags.

With ECMS, I would handle it like this:

```auto
# ======================================================
# BANNER & IMAGE
# ======================================================
media:
    header:
        960x540:
            src: "/images/960x540/online-shops.webp"
        title: "Online-Shop erstellen"
        alt:
            default: "Online-Shop erstellen"
            de: "Online-Shop erstellen in Deutschland"
            ch: "Online-Shop erstellen in der Schweiz"
            at: "Online-Shop erstellen in Österreich"
        copyright: "meinedomain.com"
        type: "remote"
```

This way, you only need a single image resource, while the alt text can be localized dynamically based on the selected country or locale.

Thank you, then I will use separate image assets.
