# How to add multiple HTML components to a site

I have a single page ‘kiosk’ screen with a simple HTML component dropped in which renders the local weather.

I would like to add a second HTML component and add a simple calendar. However, if I drag and drop the HTML component, it’s a duplicate of the first. if I delete the content of the second HTML component, the first also deletes.

I would really like to have two separate HTML components. Is that possible?

Make sure you change the name of the custom components so that each is different, otherwise you will be overwriting them

This caught me out too and was very costly as I had input a lot of data into a table then reused the component on another page and didn’t realise it had overwritten the previous.

Luckily I checked and never repeated the same mistake!
