I found myself in need of a mechanism to easily jump between anchors on a page. This could have been handled with a megamenu, and in some cases, I will do that. But for this case, I wanted something that was fairly discreet and always present at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

It features a button that floats down there and is fully customizable and SVG-based. The contents of the actual menu can be anything, as there is a single drop zone provided by the system into which anything can be dropped. In this case, there is a container, and a Top Pages component is used for the actual anchor jumps.

There is a close button, or a click anywhere outside the menu will close it. A lot ot this was derived from the custom Back to Top component that I created for myself.

Almost all of the properties of the floating button are exposed in the inspector.

Here is what it looks like in action.

Here are the settings available in the property inspector.

I called the component SITE-Nav, because the reality is it can do page navigation as well with the Top Pages component. I use anchors in this example to quickly move around the page.

Enjoy!
