# Include in Sitemap option grayed out

Folders in Pages cannot be removed from the sitemap; the “Include in sitemap” option in the Page Settings is grayed out.

Those controls are disabled as they don’t apply to Folders. If you export your site you’ll see that the folders are never included in the sitemap.xml file 🙂

- There is `paul` and `w_rfe`
- To clarify it remove the checkmark in front of the grayed out `Include in sitemap`

Hmm, I’m wondering if this is because the folders were created before we updated the sitemap feature (so they are set to show in Sitemap).

Can you try re-creating (and replacing) the folders, that should fix it for you.
