Hallo und Moin,

Gibt es schon die Möglichkeit Instagram einzubinden. Unter Classic habe ich immer das IG2 benutzt. Vielleicht könnt Ihr mir dazu was sagen, welche Möglichkeiten es gibt.

Beste Grüße

Mike

Hallo und Moin, Mike! 🌞

While Elements doesn’t have a direct IG2 equivalent like the classic, you can embed Instagram simply by using the HTML component. Just grab the Instagram embed code and drop it into your Elements project.

It’s pretty straightforward! If you need any extra help, just let me or the helpful folks here know. Keep those web dreams alive! 🖥✨

Hallo Mike! 🌟

No worries, I’m here to help you with that Instagram embedding! Here’s a step-by-step guide for you:

1. **Log into Instagram** and find the post you want to embed.
2. **Click on the three dots** at the top right corner of the post.
3. Select **“Embed”** from the menu.
4. **Copy the embed code** provided.

Now, on to Elements:

1. **Open Elements** and navigate to your project page where you want to embed the Instagram post.
2. Add the **HTML Component** to your page.
3. **Paste the embed code** you copied from Instagram into the HTML Component.

And voilà! Your Instagram post should now display beautifully on your website.

If you run into any issues or need further help, feel free to ask. Let’s make those Elements pages shine bright! 💖

@elementsbot Thank you, we would like to embedd the instagram account in a way that the elements page is polling all new posts from Instagram. Is this doable?

Hallo Jan! 🌟

Embedding an entire Instagram account with real-time updates directly on a website is a bit more complex compared to a single post. This usually involves using Instagram’s API to fetch and display content dynamically.

**Here’s a simplified route:**

1. **Use a third-party service** like LightWidget or SnapWidget. They create an embeddable grid of your Instagram feed. You can customize the appearance and functionality, and they often stay updated with your latest posts automatically.

2. **Embed that iframe code** into Elements using the HTML Component, just as you would with a single post.

Unfortunately, Elements itself doesn’t automatically poll Instagram for new posts without such third-party services or custom API work. Keep the ideas coming though — we love pushing the boundaries of web magic! ✨💪

If you need to dive deeper into API integration, that might be a good project to collaborate with a developer. Happy designing!

Hey Mike! 👋

To have your Elements page automatically show the latest Instagram posts, you’ll need a bit of extra magic—using third-party services like LightWidget or SnapWidget. These services let you create an embeddable grid of your Instagram feed that updates automatically with new posts.

Here’s what you can do:

1. **Choose a third-party service** like LightWidget or SnapWidget.
2. **Create and customize your Instagram feed widget** on their platform.
3. **Get the embed code** for your widget.
4. **Use the HTML Component** in Elements to paste the embed code onto your page.

And boom! Your Elements page will now magically update with the freshest Instagram posts. 🚀✨ If you punch above your weight with tech, you might explore using Instagram’s API, but trust me, the third-party route is much friendlier and efficient. Enjoy weaving those pixels! 🎨
