Is Realmac still in business?

We use addtoany on our website (https://www.tentechlllc.com) and it works just fine. Not sure if you need functionality than this, but it fits our simple purpose well. Check it out at www.addtoany.com

Is Realmac still in business? Like the OP, I’m finding all contact links dead and email addresses bouncing, and the help link in the fourth post in this thread is dead too. I’m trying to recover a password, and the automated recovery page says it is sending info to my email address, but it never arrives. Are they just gone?

You can always send us an email at support@realmacsoftware.com

You can also visit https://help.realmacsoftware.com/support/ and click on the little blue icon in the bottom right to start a new “conversation” versus “ticket”

The “sales and licensing issues drop us a message” link on the RM site link above is dead, so it is far from easy to contact RM. Also the Rapidweaver Manual link in RW7 does not go to the manual and there is no Contact Support link in the RW7 Help itself.

Hi Gary,

We’ll get the “sales and licensing issues drop us a message” link fixed, this was missed when we moved to Intercom for support. [UPDATE: This link is now fixed]

The RapidWeaver 7 Manual link inside RapidWeaver points to: https://help.realmacsoftware.com
This is now the online manual for RapidWeaver, it’s recently been updated and will be updated further when RapidWeaver 8 ships later this year.

You can also chat to us there (or send an email) by using the little chat icon in the bottom right.

We’re in the process of updating the website ready for the RapidWeaver 8 launch, and will make sure it’s even easier to contact us.

In the meantime, just email support@realmacsoftware.com

Thanks
Dan

@dan Good news that the contact link is fixed and it never hurts to have multiple Contact Us buttons and links on every page. In case Scott @anotherscott doesn’t see your reply, it was actually his question about not being able to contact RM, above.

Yes, I am seeing the replies, thanks. And I did try emailing the support@realmacsoftware.com address early yesterday. No response yet, but at least it didn’t bounce! I wish it were easier to recover your license key., but hopefully I’ll hear from them before too long. (I said password earlier, but I meant license key.)

Is this of any help? https://help.realmacsoftware.com/sales-and-pricing/lost-license

I started there before even trying to contact anyone, but that automated license retrieval system isn’t working… it says it sent an email, but the email never arrived. I tried twice, checked my spam folder, etc.

I have sent three e mails to the support line and haven’t even received an acknowledgement. Really disappointing as there is apparently no support at all. Not a product to recommend.

Hi Malcolm,

there clearly is support from RealMac and if they’re a little slow to reply, there are plenty of people on here who’ll happily try and help you solve any issues you’re having. @dan @ben

That’s nice to know Rob. Thank you.

Hi Malcolm - I didn’t see your ticket? Did you send in a ticket under another name?

We’re always happy to help

Ticket? I simply sent an ordinary e mail (three of them) to Nik Fletcher support@realmacsoftware.com and to date have not received a reply.

I can also confirm I’ve now sent 3 emails to the same address regarding my license and have yet to receive a response.

Nik no longer works for Realmac, so you didn’t email him. That is the standard email for their support. Not sure which system they use, but when I do support for Joe, any email sent to support@joeworkman.net goes right into our ticket system. As mentioned either in this thread or the other one, Realmac have just switched to a new support system, so maybe there is an issue when sending in emails via that email address.

There is this page

was kind of hoping it had a way other than clicking on a link and putting in an email address (like a form you fill out), but you could try that way.

I see they’re using Intercom, I just tried messaging them on this url: https://help.realmacsoftware.com/

Good catch, hopefully that will work.

Sorry to hear you guys are having issues.

I was away last week on Holiday, but I think @Aaron and @LaPan would have answered your support email.

Support emails usually get answered within 24 hours, it’s sometimes quicker, and sometimes longer just depends on the amount we have and the time sent.

Is everything all sorted now?

Thanks
Dan
