# License Issue?

I see that my app displays a yellow badge indicating “Updates have expired,” and it mentions that my license will expire in September. Could you provide clarification on this issue?

Ah yes, sorry… that is actually a display bug with earlier licenses. Your license expired the year before (September 2024), but due to the bug it’s displaying the following year. We’re aware of it and it’s now fixed in more recent builds.
So everything is as it should be, it’s just the display date that’s incorrect.
Now might be a great time to [pick up another license](https://www.realmacsoftware.com/store/) to receive updates for another year. As you probably saw, we’re currently offering **50% off RapidWeaver Classic** during our summer sale.

I’m not planning to switch to Elements just yet. I can’t overlook the significant investment I’ve made in my current stacks over the years. However, I will upgrade to Classic since I use it daily. Do you provide an upgrade price with your license, or do I need to repurchase the software in its entirety? Just curious!

Totally understand, it makes sense to get the most out of your existing setup for now. And great to hear you’re planning to stick with Classic for your daily work!
To answer your question: Classic doesn’t have a separate “upgrade” price, as it uses our subscription model. Updates and support are $99 per year, but with our current summer sale, you’ll get 50% off your first year. 🎉

@dan Hope you can see this message. I upgraded to Tahoe this past week, and RapidWeaver Classic is not accepting my license. I don’t want to pay $99 again. Is there a way I can download a previous version of Classic so I can use my license? Let me know if you need my email or anything else so you can help me with that. Thanks in advance. I don’t see anything related to Classic to download!
