# Link colors for dark mode

I’m trying to set different link colours for dark mode. While I can set different link colours which are reflected in the settings, they don’t appear on the page. Preview / Editor still shows the colors I set for light mode.

Plus… I don’t seem to find a way to set the link colors etc. for both modes. globally. Do I need to change those for every single text components that contains links?

This is a known issue and something we’re going to fix with the move to Tailwind 4.0 (soon-ish).

Correct, right now you have to do it in each text component. We will improve this in the future. For now, you could set it up as global (or Template) to speed this up.

Right, so for the time being using a project template seems like the way to go.
