I had done 30 recordings of 70

I goto Audio Flex click unlink from global - then add the Apple Spotify YouTube and Amazon links

Just downloaded Gary from Dropbox Audio Player - WOW amazing! Works great! 🙂

I added the Audio Player to the Master global - It added an audio player for each example 70+ on [WindyTown.com](http://WindyTown.com) - AMAZING TIME SAVER

Did The Spacing added a flex to move the audio to the right
Added a flex space before to move the Flex Audio links to the right

It did this to all 70+ recordings - AMAZING

But then I go back and the Audio Links were RETURNED TO GLOBAL STATUS - ALL OF THEM

Major Bug… All 70+ recording reverted to Globals and erased my links

Well it happened THREE times - anytime you move something inside a global - the parts inside reset - even when they are initially shut off…

Work Around - Got the spacing and everything perfect THEN turned off Global for all 70 sections

Yes, globals are incredibly powerful, but also dangerous. You have to be very careful not to accidentally move something otherwise it can cause major problems throughout all of the instances that are in use. I have brought this up several times and Dan has talked about adding some guardrails to possibly prevent this sort of problem.

My suggestion was that there needed to be some means of LOCKING a global against accidental movement. This would still allow you to edit properties but would prevent the accidental movements that can cause a reset.

that’s a good idea - but is an extra step say I have 20 items in a global 15 or so would have to be lock and 5 or so unlocked

Yes, it’s _still_ on the list!

Total crazy question:

When I was moving things in the grid chat gpt suggested using a container as a placeholder

It’s too tall…

I used flex and the manually control the height

Is there a best practice way to create blank space?

Is it a good assumption that when I duplicate a page and the globals on that page reset that it is the same issue?

I just found this bug yesterday. Built up a card with image and text area to use 12 times in a grid. Resize or move anything and every single one of them reverts. Very annoying.

Yes, this is _still_ on the list to improve. Hang in there!
