I’ve recently bought the Maps 2 Stack install and got my API key from my google account. Inputted the API key and all I get is the Jersey map. I thought that getting my own API key would link to my current business location?
What could I be doing wrong?
The API key doesn’t have anything to do with the location.
Check for some langitude / latitude settings.
Just edit the existing map pin in the main editing window. Look there and it’ll say Brighton Road, St Helier, etc. Replace that with your own address and it’ll work.
OK thanks got there insofar as pinning my location. I don’t have any of the display text options coming up on the map though i.e Get Directions, Driving Directions etc
Why do you need the API key to enable you to display the map though?
The API key is just a Google thing. Map 2 won’t work without it.
