Hello, I am quite new to Elements, so apologies if this has an obvious solution that I have missed. Having said that, this problem has been confounding me. I made a site with a sticky menu at the top, which works wonderfully in desktop view.

In mobile view, the menu is correctly sticky. However, when I press on the hamburger icon to show the menu, the menu is displayed, but it seems to be behind the container and is therefore inaccessible.

I have set the menu container to be sticky and to have a custom z-index value of 100.

I have tried giving the mobile menu itself a larger z-index, of 200, but to no avail. I will be grateful for any help and guidance. (Note: I have screenshots to show, but I guess I am not allowed to pose them due to me being a newbie with 0 trust level. Go figure.)

I am confused. -31 puts the container behind the rest of the content. In the tutorial it said to use +100 for the sticky menu container, so that’s what I have:

This is the overall structure of the page:

I tried increasing the z-index for the menu item itself (the one sitting inside the Global Container):

Still, the menu shows up behind the container on mobile:

Well that’s amazing, 31 did it. Thank you!

Elements folks, just an FYI: in this tutorial, you specify a value of 100 for the z-index, which evidently is incorrect:
