# Modal window bug

I’ve set up a modal.When the window is opened, elements of the underlying page are still visible, even though the background from the pop up window is not set as transparent.

Yes, this is a layering issue we know about and is part of a bigger issue that affects multiple components. We’ll have it fixed in a future beta!
