Dear All,

I just published my website (after completely deleting the old site), but the site is not working correctly. Images are missing, and none of the links are working.

I contacted HostGator support, and there appears to be something wrong with the index files.

Please hellllp

Was I not supposed to publish using this version?

Thank you

Okay, try the following:

1. Quit Elements
2. Relaunch and open your project
3. Go to the File menu and select “Re-Publish All Files…”

Let me know if that fixes the issue for you.

Okay, this is strange… Couple of things to keep this moving along…

1. Can you share the project with us so we can test it here?
2. Can you try exporting locally to a folder, and uploading with an FTP client like Transmit?

Having looked into this a little more… I’m wondering if the problem is actually being caused by you deleting your original .htaccess file (this would have been created by Host Gator).

This URL should resolve, but it doesn’t: [https://www.mamitc.sa/page-12/](https://www.mamitc.sa/page-12/) and if you add index.php to the URL, it then works: [https://www.mamitc.sa/page-12/index.php](https://www.mamitc.sa/page-12/index.php)

This seems to suggest the server isn’t routing things correctly.

Try creating a .htaccess file at the root of your web server (where you publish your site) with the following line in it:

```auto
DirectoryIndex index.html index.shtml index.php default.html home.html
```

Notes

- Image files are in the resources folder but did not show in the published website
- Number of files is different everytime I publish the site
- Overlay for container componant background is not correct in the published site as it is set to 100 and underlying image is hidden
