# Nav Effect not working after changes from Elements 2.4 to version 3x

Hi guys, I once found a very helpful tool here in the forum about how to apply a custom component “Nav Effect” in order to change a sticky menu from transparent (begin) to a colored background (when sticky). I was happily applying this effect in a few sites. Unfortunately after updating from Elements version 2.4 to 3x the custom component does not work anymore. The color is not showing anymore, even when set. @dan , you were uploading once a sample project where the effect was shown. Is there a way to fix this? I would really like to use this effect but in Elements version 3 it’s simply not working anymore. Here is the link to the sample project: elementsapp://downloadDocument/XjZ3G5sAy9sQ

There is also an issue with the Drop-down component, the animation is not working.
